Some delicious surprises: The beansprouts with chives was super fresh & succulent braised duck had a lovely light sweetish flavour that worked. The sweet & sour ribs are yummy bite sized chucks. Great crisp batter and wrapped in gorgeous tangy sticky sauce. Pity about bone to meat ration but hight recommended. Disappointments? Have had better Peashoots -- very bland despite the garlic. It was very wet / stewed & chewy. I would have. Nice but personally would have preferred garlic a bit crisper or some chillis / something to bring out the flavours and maybe younger pea shoots? Not tender. Not recommending? The curry Singapore Noodles were average. Not recommending. Large chunky chopped onions & spring onion. Salty egg chunks. Weirdly sweet curry flavour. Decent amount of shrimp. Minuscule bits of diced char sui pork, thickly julienned carrots and overly dry slivers of beef. It was easily worst item ordered (shame as one of my favourite comfort foods). Would have benefited from some beansprouts/ bamboo shoots & less onions -- or a bit of oil? It was super super dry.

I visited the restaurant with my parents looking for a quick bite to eat and we were all craving Chinese food. I hadn't had good Dim Sum in a while and I was craving dumplings. I ordered shrimp dumplings, a pork bun, a Diet Coke, and a build-your-own bowl where you can choose the vegetables, protein, and sauce that you want. I chose shrimp, sprouts, baby corn, mushrooms, and snow peas with my sauce on the side that I took home later. The food was really good, and my cravings were satisfied. I loved the pork bun in particular because the flavor of the sauce combined with the juicy pork in the center of a delicious bun really made my afternoon. The only reason why I knocked one star off of my review is that they told us they couldn't seat us in the back where we could have more space because "they were doing some work on the back part of the restaurant" which we understood, but later saw them seating other customers. It didn't make any sense to us. Although the seating arrangements could have been more comfortable, the quality of the food and service really made up for it. Our food came quickly, our bill came quickly, and our orders were taken in good time. Given the success of our meal, I would say that I would gladly come to eat here again.
